2018 BENTLELY BENTAYGA LAUNCHED IN INDIA AT ₹3.78 CRORE (EX-SHOWROOM, MUMBAI)

Bentayga is the luxury SUV lineup from Bentley with tremendous amount of power. Earlier Bentley launched the Bentayga with 6.0-litre W12 engine which produces 608hp of power and 900nm of torque.

2018 Bentley Bentayga is powered by 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine which produces 549hp of power and 770nm of torque mated with eight speed automatic gearbox, however the power and torque is reduced by 59hp and 170nm respectively. Suprisingly, Bentayga still manages to reach 0-100kmph in 4.5 secs with top-speed of 290kmph while the W12 variant takes 4.1secs to reach 0-100kmph and top-speed of 301kmph.

Bentley Bentayga V8 claims to be fuel efficient which will easily do 746km in full tank which is 85 litres. It adds cylinder deactivation technology which shuts the one cylinder bank at lower speeds to save the fuel for better fuel economy.

The exterior of the 2018 Bentley Bentayga V8 is largely similar to the W12 variant although the brake callipers painted red in colour are subtle nod to the Bentayga's new engine. Buyers will get the 21 inch wheels as standard while buyer can opt the smaller one and the bigger one (20-inch) and (22-inch) wheels respectively.

In the interior there's a new wood and laether steering wheel and a gloss carbon-fibre trim finish for door, centre console and dashboard. In addition, a new colour for lather upholstery is available- the chestniut coloured 'Cricket Ball'.

Bentley Bentayga will compete against the upcoming 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography facelift and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan which will be launched later in 2018.
