Recently a famous two-wheeler making company launched three new bikes together. The company is none other than Japanese Two-wheeler maker Kawasaki.
Japanese bike maker Kawasaki recently launched the new Kawasaki Z 650, Ninja 650 2017 and all new Kawasaki Z 900.
Here, we will be letting you know the information about the most popular one Kawasaki Z 900.
The Kawasaki Z 900 is the replacement of previous Kawasaki Z 800. Kawasaki broke many hearts by replacing its most awesome bike Z  800, but made almost all of them extremely happy by launching the replacement of Z 800, the all new Kawasaki Z 900.
Coming to the point, this bike is inspired by its elder brother Z 1000. The Kawasaki Z 900 had lost the aggression for which the Z 800 was extremely popular, but it has followed new curvy concept. According to the design of the bike this bike can be claimed as whole new different bike but Kawasaki launched this lovely bike in Z series.
The  bike looks almost similar to its elder brother Z 1000.
The Z900’s motor is actually based on that from the meaner, wilder Z1000, but gets a smaller bore, which brings the overall capacity of the four-cylinder mill to 948cc. It now offers a 12hp increase in output, taking peak power up to a meaty 125hp. Peak torque has also seen a 17Nm increase with a maximum figure of 100Nm coming in at 7,700rpm. The goal of this new motor was to offer enhanced top-end performance without compromising on low- to mid-range ridability, and to achieve this, the Z900 sports larger 36mm throttle bodies. No fancy ride-by-wire throttle though; Kawasaki has stuck to a simple formula that works by continuing to use cable-operated throttle valves.
The gearbox is still a six-speed unit, though ratios have been revised to better gel with the new motor. But the biggest improvement here is the inclusion of a slipper clutch that should eliminate rear wheel hop while downshifting hard, and also make for a lighter clutch lever action in general.
Previously Z 800 was facing the issue over its weight because the bike was pretty heavy with the kerb weight of 231 kg in its segment. But with the Z 900 its not the same the new design and the frame helped Kawasaki to loose 13.5 kg. The use of some lightweight alloys for the wheels, swing arm as well as the crankshaft and engine balancer, and you’re looking at a new kerb weight of 211kg. Its not as light as the feather weight but still somehow Kawasaki finally manged to provide the bike lighter than its elder sibling.
The Kawasaki Z 800 was the best bike under the budget of 10 Lakh rupees. You will get the Z 900 same under 10 Lakh rupees but obviously with this kind of improvement you have to pay little bit more than the previous Kawasaki Z 800.
If you already own a Z 800 then you already have a best performance bike in its segment. if you are really thinking to upgrade from your Z 800 then in our recommendation the logical upgrade will be the most powerful in Z series Kawasaki Z 1000.
Overall we can say this bike is the major improvement and implementation of Kawasaki over its previous Kawasaki Z 800.
