OVERVIEW

TVS Motors an India Two-wheeler manufacturer finally launched its most awaited TVS Apache RR 310 on 6th December 2017 which was previously famous with the name of Akula, the concept bike which was unveiled in Auto Expo 2016 with its stunning looks TVS Motors shocked the visitors. Well that was just a concept bike with a full Carbon-Fiber body but here what TVS Motors did, they launched the Apache RR 310 with the same design of Akula 310 with slight of changes.

DESIGN & ERGONOMICS

CONCEPT: TVS APACHE RR 310

The design of the TVS Apache RR 310 is inspired by Shark, infact the name Akula means Shark in Russian. The design of the bike is so aggressive which perfectly suites the stance of this beast, the Apache RR 310 in Red gives us a resemblance of Ducati's Panigale. No doubt the bike will catch the eyes of the people for a moment. The headlamps of the bike looks similar to the face of the Shark. The bike has got some shark fins too under the fairing and below the pillion seat. Allover there is nothing to complaint in terms of looks. The design of the bike is just Fabulous.

ERGONOMICS: TVS APACHE RR 310

The rider triangle is optimized for better load distribution on the shoulder to give excellent steering control and good low-back comfort. The seat profile is sculpted for ease of sliding around to achieve precise racing line while hitting the apex.

ENGINE & PERFORMANCE

Engine: TVS Apache RR 310

TVS Apache RR 310 is powered by 312.2cc single cylinder liquid cooled reverse inclined engine which produces 34 PS of power at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 NM of torque at 7,700 rpm which helps to Apache RR 310 to reach from 0-60km in 2.93 sec and from 0-100km in 7.17 sec with the Top speed of 160 km/h.

Dimension

The overall length of the TVS Apache RR 310 is 2001 mm, however the width and the height of the bike is 786 mm and 1135 mm respectively. The Ground clearance is 180 mm and the saddle height is 810 mm.

The wheelbase of the TVS Apache RR 310 is 1365 mm. The kerb weight of  the Apache RR 310 is 169.5 kg and it has the fuel capacity of 11-litres.

BRAKES & SUSPENSION

The front brake of TVS Apache RR 310 is 300 mm Petal Disc type with ABS and the rear brake is 240 mm Petal Disc type with ABS with Brake Fluid DOT 4.

The Front Suspension is Inverted cartridge telescopic fork and the Rear Suspension is Two arm Aluminium die-cast swingarm Mono tube floating piston gas assisted shock absorber.
