The all new Kawasaki Ninja 1000 was launched in India on 7th July 2017 with an aggressive pricing of Rs.9.98 Lakh. 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is brought to India by Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) kits and will be assembled in India. That is the reason why Kawasaki is able to give an aggressive pricing to the third-generation of Ninja 1000.

DESIGN

The all new 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 will look way similar to the recently launched 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650 at a first glance, but it is not extremely similar to the younger sibling Ninja 650. the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 now looks way more better than the previous model. The bike now looks more aggressive and nimble. The overall design of the bike shows the Kawasaki's designers extreme abilities to covert the beast into beauty.

What makes us crazy about the design of the 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is its fairing, it has a nice shaped sharp cutting-edged fairing which makes bike more presentable. However, the design of exhaust on the 2017 Ninja 1000 remains same which doesn't looks bad at all and suits overall built of  2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000.

ENGINE

ENGINE: 2017 KAWASAKI NINJA 1000

The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is powered by the same 1043cc Inline Four-cylinder engine which produces 142 bhp of Power at 10,000 rpm and 111 Nm of Torque at 7,300 rpm. The engine is now tuned as per the BS-IV emission regulations, the engine gets some changes in ECU and also some cosmetic upgrades. 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 carries same engine, chassis and suspension. The all new Kawasaki Ninja 1000 also features a secondary balancer on the crankshaft which will help to eliminate the excessive vibration from the engine.

CHASSIS & DIMENSION

The all new 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 has a Aluminium Twin-tube Frame Type.
The wheel size of front and rear are 120 mm and 144 mm respectively, the overall length of the 2017 Ninja 1000 is 2,100 mm, width 790 mm and height 1,235 mm. 
However, the Wheelbase is 1,440 mm. It has a seat height of 815 mm. The overall weight of the 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is 239kg and has Fuel capacity of 19 litres.

BRAKES & SUSPENSION

BRAKES: 2017 KAWASAKI NINJA 1000
The Front brake of the 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is Dual-semi floating 300 mm petal discs, the front brake caliper is Dual radial-mount, monobloc, opposed 4-piston. Brakes on rear is single 250mm petal disc and has a Single-piston caliper.

SUSPENSION: 2017 KAWASAKI NINJA 1000

The Front Suspension of 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 has a 41 mm inverted fork with stepless compression and rebound damping and spring preloaded adjustability while the Rear Suspension has Horizontal Back-link, gas charged with stepless rebound damping and spring preloaded adjustability.

FEATURES

In terms of feature, the Japanese manufacturers gives hell lot features to all new 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 at this aggressive price point. 

2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 offers KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) which has 3 modes to cover variety of riding conditions. Mode 1 and 2 offers enhance sports riding performance while Mode 3 offers increased stability when traversing through slippery surfaces. 

It also features Power Mode Selection because of which riders can choose Full power or Low power mode, Kawasaki Cornering management Function, Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and Kawasaki  Intelligent Anti-lock Braking System are also offered. 

 Assist & Slipper clutch is also offered to the bike by the Japanese Manufacturer under this price point. The Ninja 1000 gets a lot as a standard equipment.

COMPETITORS

The all new 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 has no rival under this price segment because it offers great performance and technology at this attractive price point but its very close rival is Suzuki GSX-S1000F which is very much expensive and costs around 12.70 Lakh (Ex-showroom).
