So, finally after the hell lot of rumours the most awaited flagship cellphone One Plus 5 was launched in India on 22nd June 2017 at Mumbai. The launch event that held at Mumbai was awesome and the manufacturers disclosed the many pretty awesome features about their flagship.

Now, coming to the point let's talk everything about the One Plus 5 about its design, about its specs specially about the camera and many more.

Design of One Plus 5:

Design Director of One Plus: Brian Yoon

The Design Director of One Plus Brian Yoon disclosed about the design of their flagship and said it took lots of efforts to make the design of the One Plus 5 and it is the most expensive design in One Plus history.

Two Crescent-Shaped antenna is used that are placed really carefully, which makes it look like there is no extra line on the back of the device and which also improves the sense that phone contains single unit of body. This design makes you think that no separate body is used for the crescent -shaped antenna. The design of the One Plus 5 from the back view get the resemblance of  I phone 7 Plus, but still somehow how it manages well in sense of look from the back.

On the front panel One Plus used a kind of coating which actually hides the Home Button, LED lights, Sensors and all the elements on the front panel.

The side bezel of One Plus 5 is 10% narrower than its predecessor, so this will make us more comfortable when we grip the phone and use the phone in our hand. One Plus has used the 5th Generation  2.5D Gorilla Glass the front of the One Plus 5 is more better than ever before and this is the idle body that One Plus has always persuade.

One Plus made rounded curvature to fit in the palm of hand, the horizon line looks visually sleek for this design One Plus Design Director- Brian Yoon says that this is the most  expensive design in the One Plus history.

By providing 7.25 mm of thin body the One Plus 5 is the most slimmest one plus flagship ever made. Just because One Plus has focused on the comfort of the user they made drastic change in the dimension of One Plus 5 so that user can easily hold the cellphone without any kind of hesitation.

Physical Overview of One Plus 5:

Now, talking about the physical overview let's start with the back panel of the cellphone we get to see metallic body and it feels premium in hand we also get to see a dual camera with LED flash on the back panel of the cell phone and also the branding of One Plus logo.

On the left hand side, we get the Volume Rocker button with a very tactile feedback and also a Alert Slider above the Volume Rocker.

One the right hand side, we get the power button as usual like other One Plus cellphones.

On the right hand side above the power button we get Sim Tray, unfortunately One Plus 5 does not get the feature to support External Micro SD slots and it not even supports the Hybrid feature.

We also get the Fingerprint  Scanner at front which is embedded on the Home Button which can unlock the cellphone in 0.2 seconds which is brilliant work done by One Plus Manufacturers.

At front you will also find the 16MP camera for the crystal clear selfies for live streaming purpose, on the top we also get to see the speaker grills  as usual.

  Below the cellphone we get the Type C charging port which supports the One Plus's Dash Charge Technology. We get the speakers beside the charging port and for sure One Plus provides the 3.5 mm Headphone Jack.

In sense of Headphone Jack One Plus actually asked their community to give a review on the headphone jack provided by the One Plus to their customers.

They actually received huge positive response by their community and they added the headphone jack to their flagship cellphone One Plus 5. Because One Plus says that they are customer focused manufacturers and they cant avoid their customers requirement for their design, so here One Plus actually nailed the Apple Inc. for not providing the headphones in their I phone 7 and I phone 7 Plus.

One Plus 5 is available in two very fabulous colors Midnight Black and Slate Gray, in our recommendation Midnight Black looks pretty awesome than the Slate Gary but the Slate Gray represents the characters of the One Plus legacy which is very close to perfect in terms of color production by the One Plus.

One Plus 5 gets the most powerful CPU available in the market right now. It gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon  835 which clocks upto 2.5 GHz with 8 cores and 10 nanometer processing technology.

They provide the feature of One Global Version which provides the 6 modes and 34 Bands. One Plus is also providing the fastest WiFi accessing capability on their flagship cellphone by the 2*2 MIMO WiFi technology.

*Battery:

It gets the Battery capacity of 3300 mAh and ofcorse  it supports the Dash Charger Technology which is most beloved by the current One Plus users.

*Display: 

Screen size of the flagship One Plus 5 is 5.5" at 1080p with Optic AMOLED  Display. It also supports DCI-P3 to make best out of color on your screen.

*Camera:

One Plus 5 Manufacturer says that have not only improved their main 16MP sensor but they have also added 20MP Camera lense  that will give the higher resolution  than any other dual camera system  with Fast Auto Focus at f/1.7 and they have also provided 16 MP of secondary camera for crystal clear selfies.

One Plus 5 gets 64/128 GB of Internal storage  with latest UFS 2.1 supporting dual lane technology that means cellphone gets the fastest reading & writing operation capacity, and sadly it does not support the External Micro SD Card.

*RAM: 

One Plus 5 gets the 6/8 GB of  LPDDR4X RAM which is the fastest RAM till now in the cellphone era. Now, people say 8 GB of RAM is little bit over queue. But One Plus answered the question that they believe that smartphones are becoming our primary device in our lives and it make a lot of  sense to provide you more storage , more memory than your average specs, and they are mainly focused to future proof their user for at least next 2 years so that if any other manufacturer provides the 8 GB of RAM in few years so the One Plus consumer must not feel emabarassed. Looks like One Plus is actually very much concerned about their users.

Qualcomm Adreno 540 GPU support real life visuals for exciting immersive experiences, from the lightening fast streaming video and audio to alternate reality experience.

They also have used the HVX technology  together with One Plus 5 using DSP to get faster image processing.

One Plus 5 is among the few mobile devices that is gonna be launched this year in India on the Qualcomm 835 processor global platform.

Killing Feature of Camera:

Now, One Plus 5 is filling the gap between the DSLR cameras and smartphone camera. they have improved their 16MP camera and also added a new 20MP second camera with this feature they have the highest resolution than any other dual camera system.

They introduced a feature called portrait mode  where the main camera focuses on the object and the second camera focuses and handles the background by creating the beautiful effect

The One Plus 5 f/1.7 captures better low lights shots as compared to f/2.0 which was available on One Plus 3T and also better than the f/2.2 which is available on the some current devices.

One Plus 5 f/1.7 captures 34% more light  than the f/2.0 that you get on One Plus 3T and it captures 60% more light than the f/2.2 which currently available on some high-end devices.

Now, all this power packed package is available in India for 32,999 rs. for the 6/64 GB variant and 37,999 for the 8/128 GB variant.

We haven't got features like Water resistant, Quad HD or Edged display and many more but at this price point we think this is the best cellphone we will be getting in the market today and we should not expect much at this price point from the cell phone with such brilliant design.
