BMW 5 SERIES 2017 LAUNCHED IN INDIA: REDEFINING LUXURY SEDANS

BMW India finally launched there 2017 5 Series in India the launch event was held in Mumbai on 29 June 2017. 5 series is a mid-range sedan of BMW manufacturers which sits in the middle of the BMW 3 Series and BMW 7 Series.

BMW 5 series was a successful production of BMW, but in recent times 5 series actually faced tough competition with its rivals Jaguar XF, Audi A6, Volvo S90 and also with recently launched Mercedes-Benz E class which has got the longer wheelbase in this segment. So, BMW finally answered them with its 2017 make of 5 Series.

DESIGN

Front: BMW 5 Series 2017
All new BMW 5 Series 2017 looks more sophisticated, aggressive, bigger and beautiful in terms of design. It won't be wrong to say this BMW a baby 7 Series, because we get to see the resemblance of BMW 7 series in a smaller size and its also gets some features from BMW 7 Series. The headlights are much similar to its elder brother BMW 7 Series, twin circular headlamps with hexagonal DRLS's at front and it has also got the BMW's signature kidney grille. The alloy are more shinier and beautiful than before and the body colour bumper looks more agile.

Rear: BMW 5 Series 2017
At rear it looks more aggressive than ever before because the German manufacturer finished the curvy design and gives it a cutting-edge body. The tail lights are bit similar to the earlier 5 series. The BMW 5 Series is 70 kg lighter than before because of its sophisticated and cutting-edged design.

Interior: BMW 5 Series 2017
The all new BMW 5 Series gets an high-end interior with Nappa leather seat upholstery. It has a 10.25 inch of high screen resolution display which provides brilliant features with butter-smooth user-interface. The 5 series interior feels very fresh and airy which makes driver more comfortable to drive this beautiful sedan.

FEATURES


The 2017 BMW 5 Series gets advanced features such as iDrive System with gesture control, adjustable adaptive dampers and remote parking assist an awesome feature which will help 5 Series to get parked automatically. It includes multiple zone climate control and electrically adjustable driver as well as front passenger seat as a standard feature. 

Heads Up Display Feature: BMW 5 Series 2017
The all new 2017 BMW 5 Series will also get the Heads up display feature which will show the navigation with speedometer which will show the speed on the mirror of the sedan to the driver while driving.

Riding Modes: BMW 5 Series 2017
The 2017 BMW 5 Series gets three riding modes Sport, Comfort and Eco Pro, where the Sport mode is to show the real power of the 5 Series, Comfort mode is to drive comfortably and cruise easily and Eco Pro mode to make the car more fuel efficient to provide extra mileage. It also gets the Active Cruise Control and Dynamic Cruise Control for drivers convenience.

ENGINE


Let's talk about the heart of the all new BMW 5 Series 2017. Well the 5 Series is powered by one petrol and two diesel engine. The BMW 5 Series gets a 2.0 litre, Four-cylinder Turbocharged Petrol engine which produces power of 252 hp and torque of 380 Nm. 

Coming to the Diesel engine, the diesel engine is powered by 2.0 litre, Four-cylinder engine which produces power of 190 hp and torque of 400 Nm and another diesel engine is powered by 3.0 litre, Inline Six-cylinder engine that produce 265 hp of power and 620 Nm of tourque. This luxury sedan produces enough power to blow anyone's mind. 

COMPETITORS

Competitors like Volvo S90, Audi A6 and Jaguar XF have to get worry because the BMW manufacturer gave lot of power to the 5 Series against its rivals. BMW 5 Series has got he awesome looks, brilliant features and beast like power against its rivals.
